Position:Home>Dancing> Mom wont let me?Question: Mom wont let me!? i want to do jazz and it says your suppost to take ballet with it!. but my mom wont let me take ballet cause she says its boring!. i really want to take both!. how do i confince her to let me take ballet!? if she wont let me do it do i have to take ballet with jazz!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: you probably don't have to take ballet and jazz at the same time!.!.!. but if the place you are taking dance from requires you to take both, then there might not be much you can do about it!. but definately explain your situation to the teacher when signing up for your classes, and see if you can't work something out that will still allow you to take a jazz class!.!.!. i don't think they would say take both or leave!.!. ha i'm sure that a solution can be found!.!. if not try checking other dance studios in your area that might not require you to take ballet with jazz!.!.!. and about your mother!.!.!. (personal opinion) but just because she thinks it will be boring, doesn't mean that you will!.!.!. if you love to dance and want to learn all that you can, including ballet, then tell her that it is something that you are really interested in!.!. the least she can do is let you try it and see for yourself!.!.!. i don't think it is right of her to be holding you back from taking ballet if her only reason is because she thinks it will be boring!.!. you are the one that would be taking the class!. not her!. you should pursue your passions!.!.!. and if dancing is one of yours, then explain to her that it is something you really think you would enjoy and benefit from!. good luck :]Www@QuestionHome@Com You should talk to your mom about it, and if it is something that you really want to do, she should support you!. I take both, and more, and ballet helps with every other type of dance style and you should tell your mom that!. Cause if dance is something you are passionate about, she should let you take the classes that will help you the most with your passion!. Ballet is not boring, and even if it is to your mom, that is not a good reason to not let your child take it!. So talk to your mom and tell her how you really want to take it and it is something that will help you out with dance in the future!. And it will make your jazz better, it gives you better technique!. Just tell your mom that you want to take jazz, and you want to be good at it!.
