Question: Dancing!.!.!.name of move!?!?
Hey i was just wondering what a certain dance move was called!?! Hopefully my explination will make any sense!.!.!.

When the move is done, the dancer is standing up!. And it seems like they have one leg on the ground the whole time, while the rest of there body spins around (kind of like a flip) then they land on both feet again!. Kind of like a cartwheel but there hands don't touch the ground!. Lol that probably didn't make any sense!? It's kind of a move that i think is used in contemporary dance or something if that helps!? If not thanks anyway (:Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know what you mean i think, I don't know but perhaps i can explain it better do you mean like:

one foot on the ground and the other foot swings up like a clock, round and down againand when the legs are at '6 o clock" the dancer is doing the splits!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it's just called a handless cartwheel, or maybe a headbanger because an ice-skating move similar to it is called that! I've also seen it in ballet and floor gymnastics as well as contemporary!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think I might know the move you mean!.!.!. I'm not sure if it's one of these two:

I found this link - 3:59 in this video (the move the girl does):
http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=qROqaTALJ!.!.!.
And the one at 1:17 in this dance:
http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=S6QgDQeqn!.!.!.

Otherwise it might be an ariel cartwheel which I think is done more in gymnastics!.!.!. it could fit your description too lol!!
It sounds more like the one you are trying to explain:
http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=S6QgDQeqn!.!.!.
or this one:

They may not be the smae one, but even if it is similar it might help =]
Hopefully other people can help you by lookg at this!!

I hope I have helped you explain which move you meant =]Www@QuestionHome@Com
