Position:Home>Dancing> Do u ballerinas get told off for this?Question: Do u ballerinas get told off for this!? helloo i do ballet nd im like in love with nail polishes! i always have different ones like blue & purple nd stuff yeah!. lol i cbf taking them off for classes so i leave them on nd i had like black and pink on nd my teacher was looking at me like i was from another planet!. lol!. he didnt say anything tho!. does this happen to u!? is ur teacher strict!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Not in general class no!.!.!.Because all 3 of my Ballet teachers are absolutely gorgeous and take great pride in their hair, make up, nails etc!. But if we were at a competition, exam or concert we would be dead if we had nail polish on!. If I was you, I would just wear a different colour nail polish!. Definitely not black-just a lighter colour!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com For exams or shows we do get told off but other times not really!. One of the teachers I had used allow nail varnish which was the color of you leotrard!. I have had to quit ballet due to exams so they could of changed the rules since!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Oh lol!.!.!. I think i wore a really nice dark purple polish one time, but my teacher made me take it off in front of her!.!.!. It WAS for an exam though lol!.!.!. I would say that you're fine for class, but be careful with exams and shows!
