If you love dance so much that you can't bear to think of any other career, then by all means try and build a career in dance!.
If it is one of many interests in your life, then I suggest you keep it as a part time interest and build a career in something else!.
If you decide that dance is the only career for you, then stay in school, do A levels or a BTec in dance or performing arts!. Then get a proper three year training in dance, and if possible one that gives you a degree in dance or performing arts!. A degree should help you to get better jobs when you are not working as a dancer!.
There are sometimes opportunities for dancers in teaching and in gyms as well as in perfomance, but you will need to get some teaching qualifications - ask your dance teacher about this!. But you will have to be willing to work at other jobs when you are resting!.
Hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. There are sure to be some dance schools in your area which you will be able to attend!. Some people do indeed go on to do a dance course at university or college, but I definitely recommend finishing your A levels at school first, to keep your options open!. After completing a dance course at university or college you could for example, become a dance teacher yourself or perform in one of the many touring dance shows!. Of course, there are many other things you can do as well!. If you're young, that's when the best time is to start dancing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What area are you from!? There is a great full-time drama school in Croydon called the brits, and you can audition for it when your in year nine or above!. also even if you join a saturday dance school you can get lots of shows!. I started dancing when I was about eight and now ive quit but in that time i got 72 trophies! Its a great hobby :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey

Of course you can make a career out of dancing! Well, it depends if you're good enough and I reckon you're brilliant!. Take George Sampson for example, (Winner of Britains Go Talent 2008) He started off in an audition and look at him now! You hear Fern Cotten talking about him all the time on the radio and he won £100,000 from his dancing skills!. Go to the Britains Got Talent website and print out an application form and maybe we'll all see you on television in 2009!.

Hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go to dance school if you want, but be prepared to work a lot when you're out!. You may have a few years at least of working other jobs while dancing!. If you compete and become very good at particular kinds of dance, you will start to become known in the community and maybe could start teaching!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes you an have a career in dance but you must never rely on it, you should also work or study something else at the same time as a back up, you may never get constant work as a dancer and wouldnt want to end up with nothing at all, dont give up your dream of dancing though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
