NO way! You are not fat!. A majority of what you think is weight is probably hard core muscle! You can be any size to do ballet, and having a lot of bone is already a good thing! Don't let anything hold you back, and don't doubt yourself, or you may never know of the future! Just have faith in yourself, and get out there! Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

No way!
You can be any size to do ballet!.
A girl in my ballet class is over weight but my teacher likes her for her musicality and great timing!.
And these two get you the most points in a ballet exam!.
If you are thinking of doing ballet but think you are too fat stop thinking that and do some ballet cause it doesn't matter if your fat (and your not) but it does matter if you have a heart for what your doing!.
Have fun and think positve!.

Are you talking about doing ballet, or becoming a prima ballerina!? You really should have no problem with weight, either way actually!.

You don't have to be thin to dance, just enjoy it! I have the same weight situation as you, not thin not fat (I even have the same situation with my mum!) I enjoy my dancing and it has given me a much nicer body!.

If you do want to be a ballerina, all the hard training's going to give you beautiful toned muscles anyway!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No you don't have to be skinny!. just be toned and in shape and have the talent!. If you take a look at some the dance companies they are have got dancers of all shapes and sizes!. Dance is about having a special talent you can express in a beautiful way, not about being the smallest or skinniest!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no way! definitely not to simply take ballet classes!. you are by no means overweight!. that is perfectly fine for dance at a studio!. as you take dance classes you'll notice that you will lose fat and gain muscle!. your weight might not change too much, but your figure, shape, and toning will!. GO FOR IT!Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, you don't!!!!!! It depends really on your body type - those 125 lbs of yours might be muscle or it could be fat!. What those lbs are made of makes a huge difference in the world of dance!. Remember - muscles weigh more than fat believe it or not!. Well, have fun dancing though!Www@QuestionHome@Com

no iv seen way bigger ballet dancers like more in range of 200 lbs!. dancing shouldt revolve around your weight it should revolve around if you LOVE and have a passions for it and if your good!. not your size!.!.!.
good luckkWww@QuestionHome@Com

No, you don't sound like you are overweight! When people watch a dancer, they don't watch the shape of her, they watch the WAY that she dances!! Don't give up!!

Good luck and hope this helps!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
