Question: Is there anything that I should know before enrolling my daughter in ballet class!?
My daughter is 3 years old and she loves to dance so I think it would be a good idea for her to be in a ballet class!. Im probably going to wait a year or two before she starts the class!. Is there anything I should know!? Because I don't know much about that stuff!. I've tried to research but haven't found much and don't know where to start!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My daughter started ballet at 3 years of age!.
As long as your daughter knows her left from right and can follow directions!.
For example: practice with her!. Stand next to her and tell her to put her right foot out and tap once!. You do it with her and be patient!. Then tell her to squat and you squat with her!.
See if she can follow small instructions!. Tell her to put her right hand in the air; you too!. Tell her to put her left hand in the air, you too!. Then tell her to put both hands in the air, etc!. See if she can do these simple tasks with you!.
Is she shy!? If she is shy you may want to consider waiting until she is a little older!.

If she is a little confused consider tumbling classes which are a very active fun activity until next year when she may be more prepared!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I started dancing when i was 5 and i wish i started earlier!. The earlier the better!. Most dance studios start at 3 or 4 so i would start her now!. Before you inroll her go and just watch a class!. This is always important because if you dont like the way it goes you dont have to put up with tears or anything else!. also just do plain excersises with her!.like streching!. I remember when i was that age i had my own ballet shoes and outfit!. get her that and let her practice and just dance around in them! Dancing is a blast!!!! i hope she likes itWww@QuestionHome@Com

well i would find a good class that you might want to bring her to and ask one of the teachers about the dance and if theres anything you need to know, but definitely let her do it because it will be one of those things that she will hold onto forever and maybe be one of the best one day :]

plus when shes older like 15 or 17 or something she can say yeah ive been dancing since i was 4 (or 5)Www@QuestionHome@Com

First you must find a good dance school that knows how to handle chhildren of such age!. I myself was enrolled in ballet when I was around that same age!. You might want to find numerous dance studios and go to the try out classes before choosing the long term studio!. This will help you to decide which dance class better suits your daughters needs!.Hope this helped :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

enroll her into a school that has good dancers!. watch the older children dance before signing your child up to see if they are good or not!. because if your child sticks with dance, you'll want her to be good when she gets older, not bad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

her feet are going to hurt like hell!. she'll be getting blisters regularly!. but i think after that, it'll be great for her!. so you just have to make sure she keeps at it :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
