Is it better to take Jazz or modern dance?

Question: Is it better to take Jazz or modern dance!?

well i say modern because it has more emotion and feeling and there are more professional opportunties in modern is a must for any dance student as well as ballet!. and lyrical is just a new name for modernWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think you should start off with basic jazz if you have no experience yet!. Alot of stuff you do in modern uses the same ideas as Jazz!.

If you are looking to get into a dance show, jazz usually is something you need to be able to do!.

Why not take them both!. I know at most studios you pay for your 1st class full price and get the second cheaper!.

If you are serious about your work!.!.!.then taking more than one class should be okay!. I suggest taking them both!.

I really like both of them!. You should really take a few classes of each of these things, because we can't decide what you should go for!. If I said Jazz, for instance you could try it and hate it, but it could be too late and you have to do a whole session!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
