Dance is so much hard work and dancers get major injuries just like a football player its not a contact sport but I must say it is a sport!.Www@QuestionHome@Com According to dictionary!.com!.!.!. In my opinion!.!.!.Historically, dance has been considered an art form as it was originally meant as entertainment and is most often used as a form of personal expression!. However, dance is often now included in competitive forums and there is no doubt that it requires great skill and physical prowess!. Perhaps an argument could be made for it being a sport!.!.!.but what's wrong with being considered an artist!? Dance is older than most of the sports out there and is a cultural universal!.!.!.virtually all cultures have some form of dance and expression through movement!.
