Question: Dance Stretches!?!?Dancers Only Please!?
Does anyone know any stretches that will improve flexibility and strengthen my leg muscles!? I also need stretches that can help me get my splits right/left/center!. *Please include links*Www@QuestionHome@Com

1!.put the balls of your feet on a stair and drop your heel then lift it like you're doing a releve!. keep doing it as much as you can on one leg until your calf just wont lift anymore, then switch to the other leg!. do this about ten times and be sure to stretch afterwards cause you'll get REALLY sore!.
2!. sit on your bed and let your foot dangle off the edge and "write alphabets" in the air with your feet!. you can also do your name or numbers!.
3!. lay on your side proped up on your elbow with your head in your hand!. bend the top leg in front of the bottom one and put your foot down on the ground and hold it there!. then lift the bottom one up using your inner thighs to help hold your turn out!.

if you're looking for flexibility, stretch your hamstrings and quads alot!. that'll really help!. put your feet together on the ground and reach down!. if you can, hug your legs!. and do the normal thigh stretch!. (where you pull your foot behind you when your standing and keep your knees together)!. and be extra careful on the last part cause if you don't you can tear ligaments in your knee!. my friend did!. :( good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

do lounges and sit with ur legs together and try to touch ur toes!. do this for about 10 mins wile u watche tv or somethin!. u can also sit with ur legs as spred out as u can get them then try to reach to the middle and go as far down as possible!. if u really want to get in ur splitz faster then u can stretch for 5 mins then just hold ur splitz while u watch tv! hope i helped ( im a dancer)Www@QuestionHome@Com

My advice for you is to just practice your splits everyday by holding them for about 30 seconds at a time!. also try leg extensions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
