Excellent question my friend!! Dance classes are something that your money will be good going to!. Why don't you go to a nearby neighborhood, or even yours, you can do some extra chores, and ooooh!!! Even do a bake sale!. This bake sale can even be fun, maybe invite a few friends to make the cakes, cupcakes, and lemon bars, keylime bars, and cherry bars, and even some pies!! Ummm why don't you try dog walking, babysitting (make sure you do an American Red Cross babysitting classes to make sure you know everything, or brush up on a few things!)! Let me know if you get enough money! And if your parents won't let you do anything like those, ask your parents/gaurdian, just ask for ALOT more chores!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

paper rounds can be annoying to do every morning and they don't pay much but sometimes you can deliver free papers for an alright amount of money!.
you could also try doing one-off moneymaking activities like car-washing, tombola, selling some old things (possibly on ebay)
or you could try dog-walking or doing jobs (like ironing or mowing the lawn) for your family and neighbours!.
my best recommendation is babysitting: put up an advert in your local post office or supermarket and put some flyers through people's doors but try not to put on too much personal details (like your home phone number) your email address will be fine!. Anyway, people pay good money for babysitters, especially after midnight and it is a fairly easy job - relaxing and watching tv all evening - since people generally put their kids to bed before the babysitter arrives!.

if all else fails, drop off your CV into many different shops and restaurants - especially grocery stores - and hope for the best!.

good luck and i hope the dancing goes well!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need to do lots of different jobs often!.!.!.
Little jobs for neighbours or relatives!.
When your 13 it's hard to get jobs because of insuranse and things so you need to think if you kno anyone you could convince to take you on as a saturday girl!.
You could wash up, boring but simple and gets money fast!.
This might be a bad idea and i don't kno your circumstances but can't you get you parents/ carer to pay as a loan and when your earning money you can pay them back if not then just phone lots of hairdressers for saturday girls or go into buzy pubs to seee if they need washer upers HaHa

Good luck chuck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not sure about Manchester area specificlly, but at 13 there isn't many jobs you can do, you could offer to cut peoples grass, babysit, wash cars or walk dogs!. I know it isnt much but once you are 14 there may be some more possiblities, like waitressing for example!. Most importantly though, enjoy your childhood!Www@QuestionHome@Com

My suggestion is to look into the things you're good at!. Maybe you could look into babysitting if you like kids!. You could start with asking family and friends if you could babysit their kids to get more experience and then they can recommend you to their friends and so on!. You can check the paper for any day cares that are looking for help!. unfortunetely there really arn't too many options for 13 yr olds because you're too young to get a legal job!. It's not glamorous but you could mow lawns and do garden work for family, friends, neighbors etc!. It's not necessarily fun work, but it would get you money, especially during the summer!. But you could do similar things during the winter!.

Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unfortunately - employers are not alowed to hire people under 16!. But if you want some ideas -
-try car boot sales, making cakes, making cards, (crafts etc)
-Turn one of your hobbies into money - like busking (as long as you apply for a license from the council - otherwise its begging)
-You could sing, play and instrument or even dance for money!.
-Set up a fashion show with your friends for all your parents and charge them an admission!.!.!.
-Offer to clean cars, mow lawns, walk dogs -(which is what i did) many local postoffices and newsagents will allow adverts in their windows so you could advertise there or even in the local paper!?
-Ask around shops or businesses if they need any leaflets distributing!.

Hope this helps xWww@QuestionHome@Com

- walk your neighbours pets

paper rounds are boring but are great as a last resort if you need money!.
wash cars
walk dogs
baby sit
try a staurday job
work at a hairdressers, may be boring sweeping hair and making coffee but its more fun!.
or try a shop thats looking for juniors
theres not many jobs you can get at your age but you can only look and try!.

good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In addition to helping your friends and parents, you might be able to model for some art classes for live drawing!.

Proceed with caution (no one-on-one modeling, only with all your clothes on etc, only in art schools)!.

A lot of dancers model for drawing classes, because they are able to hold poses!. It's tough standing in one position for an hour or two!.

But please be very careful!Www@QuestionHome@Com
