Question: I need some help choreographing please!?
I've been to choreograph a broadway-like kind of dance (jazz hands, kick lines, etc!.)!. I've picked my music -- "In London Town" by Michael Bublé -- but I've never choreographed for this type of dance before! Can you just give me some pointers and basic steps I can incorporate!? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks very much!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Watch a couple broadway classics, like Chicago, Fosse, Big Spender, and get inspired! Broadway jazz is alot of sexy-walk, leg extension, and even using hats as props!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

LIsten to the music first, try some moves out!. How many dancers are there!? Can they do all the moves!? Any guys and girls dancing together!? You'll want to make it fun and interesting!. Be prepared to rearrange some of the steps!. Can you ask your teacher for some help!? In other dances, have you seen any moves you like!? Use them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love that song! I would use the classic "top hat and cane" look!.

btw, i choreograph myself, good luck! and happy dancing! :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just do what feels natural and right! If it doesn't look cool to you, then it won't look cool to others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
