Question: I have pulled a muscle in my leg and Dance Exams are soon!!!! HELP!!?
Hi! So on Thursday night i pulled a muscle in my thigh (its at the back of the thigh) because i was cold!. Now, the pull is NOT excruciating it just hurts!. I can actually still do all the flexible things and stuff but obviously haven't been because of injuring myself again!.

The problem is I have dance exams in 5 or 6 weeks! And i am doing 4 exams, all of which require flexibility!. I have been doing RICE (rest, ice, compress, elevate) which has helped!. I can't miss dance class, because exams are so close!. I will be taking it easy though!.

Please give me some more tips to help my leg heal quickly!. It's feeling better already!. How long do you think it will take to heal!?! It HAS to be better by exams!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should just take it easy, and do some Yoga!.
It helps, trust me!.
Don't worry about exams!. If your a good dancer (like I know you probably are), you'll be fine by exam time!.

If you're icing it, try heating it, too!. I've heard that works!.

Keep doing exactly what you are doing!. Do not stretch it anymore!. Take it easy!. If not, you will only re-injure yourself!.

Go to class and mark your dances!. You should be just fine in a few weeks so don't worry!.

When you are feeling better!.!.!.start slow!. Make sure that you are VERY warm before you stretch or start going full out again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Elevation, Ice, then Heat!. Then keep going back and forth from ice and heat!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just try stretching, but not over stretching!. I think by exams it will be fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
