Ok, first start with a basic jog
or even dance fast and crazy to any music,,,

all dancers, gymnasts, etc!. etc!.
need to warm up to prevent any muscle strains and sprains!.

The reason we warm up is because !.!. the blood circulates around our muscles making it more easier to stretch!.
the more warmed up u are the easier u will b able to become more flexible quickly!.

Next, sit on the floor
v sit: sit in the shape of a v, spread your legs out as wide as you can and reach for the middle!.
hold for 30 secs!.
repeat with grabbing to your right leg and left leg!.
hold for 30 secs!.

NOTE: Make sure u do not over strain urself!.
if u are in tremendous pain STOP!!
also!.!. do not bounce when stretching!!
a big no!.!.no!.!.!.

Next sit in the shape of a 4!.!. sit with your legs in front of you !.!. move one leg to the side and bend it so that your feet are touching your side of you knee!.
Reach for ur leg, hold for approx!. 30 seconds
Repeat with different legs!.

stand up straight, reach for your toes!.
Hold for 1 minutes

stand up straight, hold onto a chair and grab your fott pulling it behind!.!.
you should feel a stretch in your quads!.

first, jog about a half mile or so to warm up the muscles!. then here is a perfect website for you!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.this is how i got my splits down!.

do not do anything that feels uncomfortable! i just pulled a muscle yesterday in the splits!. do it enough that you feel a stretch, but not enough to make you cry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A great way to get your splits is this:
1!. Get into straddle!.
2!. Bend the leg that you want to practice the splits in!.
3!. Turn your body towards the bent leg and get on top of it!.
4!. Then lay down on it!.!.!. if you can!.
