Yay for starting lyrical!

This might be harder for you because you have never done ballet before!. Just don't be afraid to move your body in an unfamiliar way!. Watch your instructor and try to move like he/she does!.

If you learn a combination or a dance in your class, find out the name of the music and get it for yourself on iTunes or something!. Then listen to the lyrics and work the moves of the dance to fit them!.

Finally, add your own personality to the dance, but be sure to keep your technique!

also, if you enjoy lyrical, I REALLY reccomend ballet!. It is an essential base to all forms of dance, and isn't as stupid as some portray it to be!. Challenge yourself!. Try it!

As for stretches, just do things to keep you limber!. Splits, lunges, straddles!.!.!. Don't hurt yourself or pull a muscle or something!. Have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com
