Question: Belly dancers!.!?
kay so i can belly dance and move my hips
but for some reason i cant move my right
hip as much sa i can move my left
like its stuck and i just cant hardly move
it !.!. does this happen to every one else!.!.

Are you a beginner or have been dancing for a while!? Did your hip always seem to "stick" or is this a new development!. Everyone has a side that they tend to favor!. This often leaves one side slightly weaker than the other!. If it's just a little bit of difference I'd suggest that you purposely favor that side for a while to loosen it up and bring it closer into sync with your left!. For example when your practicing hip lifts do four on the left and eight on the right!. After a while this may help even things out and then you should go back to doing it equally on both sides!. Make sure you stretch thoroughly and warm-up enough before you start to make sure that you have the largest range of motion you can!. Now if it's a big discrepency I'd suggest taking it up with your doctor and asking them how to correct the matter (such as stretches specifically for that, whether it can be fixed with exercise/stretching etc!.!.!.)!. To make sure ask someone to observe you doing whatever movements you notice problem with and then AFTER they watch ask them if they notice a difference!.!.!. don't ask them before or at least don't tell them which side!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
