Question: I'm having trouble with my ballet!.!.!.!?
I do ballet and have done it for 9 years!. I'm en pointe and would like to improve my turns!. Because of injuries, I can only pirouette en pointe on one foot!. Advice on how to master turns on the other!? I can do piques (pronounced P K's-- I don't know how to spel it) well on the same foot that i can do pirouettes, but on the other side, i have difficulty actualy getting up and i always do an extra little hop right before i do the next pique!. Inward turns are impossible for me on the both feet on pointe!. please help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

concentrate on getting your weak side only, and stop working on your good side!. You'll never improve your good side even more until you fix your bad side!. Do a good turn, and notice how your body feels when you do it!. Go to the weaker side, and slowly rise onto pointe, maybe use a barre, and feel your toes grab the ground in your shoe!. Practice pieroettes at thhe barre and just never stop trying!.
good luck! :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
