you're never too old!.
it's just going to be a little harder for you to get it as quickly as the younger dancers!. so don't get frustrated!.
I would definately throw a ballet class in there so you can learn how your core should move along with balance, grace and agility!. This will help you tremendously, especially if you want to learn contemporary!. Contemporary is very controlled and takes a strong core!.
Take whatever appeals to you as well!. Just getting the basics down and getting moving will help you in so many ways!.
Make sure you find a dance studio that is not a competition based studio because they cater more to young kids, and the classes you would start out in would probably only have 13 year olds in it!.
just ask them what the age range is of the studio and you can decide whats the most comfortable learning environment for you!.
Hope this helps!. and good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

24 is still young! You should so do it! You dont have to be a teenager to dance or a college student!. My dance teacher is 34, she is absolutely fantastic at dancing and everyone loves her!.

But I really think you should do a type of dance that you love to do for fun and not what you think looks good!.

I'm like thirteen right now and I've always loved the way street dancing looked but I really enjoy doing ballet and lyrical and with those ones I have the most fun!. Do what ever you want to do while yr still young girl!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are never too old!!

I would reccomend starting at a local salsa (or similar) class, there are all ages and skills at these sessions!.

It will help you gain confidence in yourself and you will understand then what abilities you have, how quickly you learn etc!.!.!.

Then you will know where to aim for when you are looking into professional 'proper' dance classes/lessons!

I hope this is useful for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What You start with is really up to you!. all you have to do is learn so many of the steps first then learn the rest of the steps!. this takes time so don't worry if You don't get it right off the bat!. Good luck and have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com

24 is a good age!. find a good class, make contact with friends who have some training!. keep an eye on youtube too!! and make some skills! its not like schooling!. learning dance, music isn't something limited by age!. and simply, 24 isn't too old!! c'mon!.!.!.!. :) wish you all the best!.!.!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

24 is still young!.Maybe you can enroll yourself in a beginners class as a start!.Try asking a friend to join the dance class with so you wont feel so awkward cause at least there is someone you know in the class!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

24 is definitely not too late! My sister is 21 and she just took her first dance class ever!. I recommend taking a Jazz and/or Modern/Contemporary dance class!. Both will help you learn technique as well as feel comfortable as a new dancer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
