Question: What kinds of dances are danced in a world competition!?

I'm just wondering, because I can't find a list anywhere!. I watched some sort of competition and now I want to know more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it's ballroom, then the dances danced would be International Standard, which is Modern Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz and Foxtrot, and International Latin American, which is Samba, Cha cha, Rhumba, Jive and Paso Doble!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

um well it depends on what competition!.
also it depends if you are talking about ballroom dancing or regular dancing or any other type!.
but usually in regular dancing it is

modern/lyrical
open
tap
jazz
musical theatre
ballet

usually the types of groups that can compete are
solo
duet/trio
small group
large group
line
