I know several women from their late20's to their early 40's who started ballet as adults and went on pointe within 6 months!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You don't want to live your life as "I should have," I could have!." You're not being delusional, unless you think you could dance for ABT - kidding!. Pointe shoes were an option for 2nd and 3rd level students where I studied ballet; although, it wasn't an option for me - being a dance major - and the thing is, I'm a guy, yes guys do pointe works, too!. Just keep that goal!. There's nothing like it!. Not all can do pointe, not all want to do it!. I don't do it anymore, but I can always say, I did pointe!. Glad I didn't order purple color for my pointe - got a black one!. Just keep thinking up!. And if you can lose weight without being unhealthy, it would help put less pressure!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've actually taken a class where a few of the women have been in their 30s!. It was a beginer pointe class that I took just to get in an extra day, and these women were just starting out!. They had a lot fo fun and learned a lot, too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm sure it's been done!. It would likely take a lot of hard work, patience and stamina!. I never did it, but good luck to you and your toes!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
