Pirouettes has a lot of variations - done with an inside or outside turns!. It depends on what kind of pirouettes you are doing or styles!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think fouttes are usually done outwards (en dehor) but they could be done inwards (en dedan) as well, i guess!? It would be much harder, though, because the working leg is not really pulling you around as well!.

As for pirouettes, they can be done en dehor or en dedan! Usually, at least in ballet syllabuses, pirouettes en dehor will come straight up to retiere, while pirouettes en dedan the leg carries to second before coming in to reteire!.

Hope i helped!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Me, personally!? For inside turns, I prefer to turn to the right, to the left for outside turns!. I do fouettes with my left leg up, even though I'm right handed!. Somehow I managed to end up doing most of my flips, jumps, and turns as a leftie!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
