No, I don't think so!. I am also a classically trained dancer, for more than 20 years (includes about 8 years teaching)!.!.!.
But, I of course, am retired (I'm 49!!!)!.!.!.
I think if your body can put up with the grueling training often needed, I think you'll be OK!.!.!.!.and if you happen to "look" young!.!.!.that will go in your favor as well!.!.!.good luck!.!.!.getting back into it after a health problem takes more determination, work and "gumption" on your part than the "ordinary" dancer!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course its not too late yet!. You can start auditioning again, as long as your health is good, your weight is balanced and you practice really hard, im sure you will be accepted into a good dance company!. Your are really young and at 21 you shouldnt think your dancing career is over!. Its probably just beginning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think you are too old, go for it, But put your extra time into something else, don't become reliant on ballet!.Not that you won't make it, but as a future alternative!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no way you are as young as you feel!. if you want to do ballet then do it!. i say you will be excellent at it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it maybe in some schools but in others it would probablly be just fineWww@QuestionHome@Com
