While some people assist teachers in classes, it is basically up to the teacher to be knowledgeable in the steps and proper execution, and to be able to explain it to the students and show them the correct execution!. Not everyone can do that!. You have to have knowledge of the steps and what the students feel comfortable with, and something to challenge them!. also the teacher should have knowledge to put steps together and choreograph a dance!. Some teachers even hire out other choreographers to come up with full company dances!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I just started a outreach dance program and I am the dance teacher!. I will tell you if you do not have a passion for it, then leave it up to someone who does!. I believe you have to be able to adept to many different styles of Dance!. If ballet is for you then I will advise you to learn a something else like modern, jazz, hip hop and maybe even tap!. Being a teacher of dance, academics, or sprts is hard on any level!

I'm glad you enjoy dance, so do I :P!. To be a dance teacher you have to be thoroughly adept at more than one dance, usually Ballet, Tap and if you're interested, Hip Hop!. You have to have several years of experience in each of these dance styles and most usually earn a certificate that allows them to go on and teach dance!. The certificates are obtained through certain dance institutions where you might need to perform dance tests to prove you are adept!. My ballet teacher has a degree in performing arts!. She says being a Dance teacher can be challenging but if you have a real passion for it, it won't be too much of an issue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Complex might eb a better word!. Of course its a challaenging job, but you also have to have the passion for it which probably edges out the demanding nature fo the job!.
You'd need to be proficient in several styles of dance, course, you could always run just a ballet school!. You also need to be able to adapt to the learning style of all different age groups, and obviously employ things like technique, skills in chreography, ans musicality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes it maybe difficult to teach if u cant handle them as a dancer i say it may be difficult , but if u enjoy it and make everyone like it i say it wont be difficult !!Www@QuestionHome@Com
