looks don't matter in dance as long as you're having fun!. weight shouldn't stop you from doing what you want!. ballet is good exercise too so it should help you lose weight!. if you wanna do it, i'd say go for it!

good luck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

im not skinny and not fat (im fourteen)
i took dance classes (mostly tap, jazz and ballet) from when i was 3 to when i was 11
i acuualy liked ballet the best
and you might feel like you need to be skinny to dance but you dont!. its no different then if you were skinny!.
and danceing is really fun:)Www@QuestionHome@Com

No you don't have to be thin to be in a ballet class!. Trust me, I went to a professional ballet school and there were still fat girls in the class!. You may not get into a professional ballet company but you're never too fat to take a class at an appropriate level!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It doesn't matter if you are fat or thin!. You might feel and look a little better being thin in a leotard during class, but that's just for you and the class to see!. On stage in costume no one really cares and can't really tell!. its your choice, but it is not mandatory to be thin!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

wow, seriously, not at all!.
some of the best dancers i know have some extra weight on them!. weight isn't really a factor in ballet for our ages!. it's all about how you distribute your weight, using your muscles, and stretching!. don't worry about your weight at all girl!.

You don't necessarily have to be!.
A leotard usually slims you down!.
If not, who cares, i was overweight and Ballet helped me lose weight, now i look fine in anyhtingWww@QuestionHome@Com

You do not have to be thin to take a ballet class; however, if you pursue it professionally you have to be a stick! Take classes and see if it's your thing!. I enjoyed my ballet and pointe classesWww@QuestionHome@Com

Of course you don't have to be thin!!! If you want to go professional you might, but for just simple lessons, any weight is excepted!. Well thats how my studio is anyway!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, not at all!. Ballet is fun, and you don't have to be thin to do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its not a requirement, just kinda an unwritten rule!. You cant be graceful and strong with weight on your toes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course not !Www@QuestionHome@Com
