Ok, lts first just check how you position your jazz split!. The front leg should be straigth, with the toe pointed!. The back leg should be bent (almost like an sttitude position, but on the floor!.) You can do really really wide jazz splits, where they almost look like full splits, with the back leg bent just slightly!. If you are not that flexible, then you can bend the back leg a bit more!.

So you start by standing upright!. Place the leg you want in front in front of you, and begin to slide down!. DO NOT bend the back leg as soon as you start to slide, or you will just fall, and make a loud noise, or hurt yourself!. You start by appearing to go down in a full split!.

If you can't do a full split yet, then bend your back leg slowly when you get to the point where your flexibility disallows you to continue the split further!. If you can do a full split, then just go down and gradually bend the back leg!. If you can do a full split, your jazz split will probably be quite wide!.

Try doing it with only oe hand touching the floor at the end, and then with both hands in second!.

Make sure you really control the split going down!. There is no point doing it really fast and messily, then it will but be messed up!. It is better to take it slow, and really control it!.

I would advise to start stretching and practising the splits!. It is so much easier to do jazz splits once you have full splits!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

start with beigh really cold, i mean when you wake up, and you are full of energy, and you're not tired from working out the last few days ago!. if you feel extra jittery, try!.? If you've been excited after a funny movie, try!. Hormones affect your body!. Then breathe deeply and warm up by doing various stretches!. I find that i can do full splits when I am "loose" and that i tighten up after training for two days, so on certain days you can, and others you cant!. also consider really warming up before you push you boundries!. What i mean is say, jog, get your heart rate up, before you exhaust yourself, do your stretches, you will do deeper!. Wear layers of warm sweats!. Get really hot, go in a jakouzzi!. also it takes years!.? Cross train!. I like hatha yoga for flexability, ballet gets me tighter!. Remember, you can pull a muscle or ligament, so listen to your body!. don't let anyone push you!. stop if you feel slightest pain!. Build slowly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
