Question: Date/salsa lesson - how to dress!?
My bf and I would like to try out salsa dancing at this dance/cabaret/bar place!.!.!.the place offers a dinner and dance experience (you have dinner and then they have dancing and performers, and lessons too) so I'm not sure whether it's casual/semi-formal!. Would a fitted dress be too formal!? It has a "salsa vibe" because it sways at the bottom when you spin!. Any other suggestions!? Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Salsa is almost always quite casual!. It's also fast, so wear something that doesn't restrict your motion in any way, including the ribcage!. You can breathe hard and even break out in a sweat with a steady diet of salsa!. The dress you mention may be OK, but you'll want to "test-drive" it before you decide!. Be sure your shoes don't have a rubberized sole but do have a back!. You'll be doing a lot of turns, and it wouldn't do to twist an ankle or step out of your sandals!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Walk by the place and peek!. If you can't find time to, the dress sounds fine!. Or a long skirt, ankle-length (any length really, but not too short), frilly-swirly at the bottom and a sleeveless top, both huggy on the curves, and a flower in your hair!. Don't forget to wear comfortable heels and have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you don't have the time to check it out, comfortable, low heels and a classic simple black dress to the knee should be appropiate!.

try and find out other people that are going and ask them !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
