Question: Lost the splits!.!.!.!?!?
I can do the splits!.!.
or atleast i could do them!.!.

i stopped stretching for a while!.!.
so i kinda assumed that i could do them!.
on tuesday i tried the splits (right splits)!.!. and i felt this strong pain in my butt,,
it was an oh crap moment!.!.

i can walk and run without pain!.!.
but whenever i try and stretch my right leg!.!. i feel this uncomfortable pain in my butt!.!.

Should i continue my intensive dance training !?!?
should i completely wait for my butt to heal!?!?

I don't know what that Jules person is on about; its always 'the splits' for me!.

Yes, continue dancing just don't do any exercises that cause you pain!. The body is amazing when it comes to healing itself, this morning I had cramps through my right leg and 6 hours later it was gone!. The same thing will probably happen to you!.

1!. A split should never be reffered to as "the splits" even in plural
2!. I would wait until the pain stops and then start stretching again, but don't just barge straight into it!. Getting your splits back takes time and you could hurt yourself if you go straight into a split without being stretched and flexible enough!. Since you stopped stretching, you lost a little of your flexibility, so you'll have to gain that back!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

but i would talk to your teacher about it!.
