how many danced are you in!? how many hours, days and classes a week do you practice your company dance!? i want to try out for a team if you live in inland valley please tell me where you goWww@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I am on the Stars National Dance Team and we are VERY competitive so we practice a lot!. When it is not close to competition we practice four hours a week; monday and wednesday!. When it is getting close to competition we dance around 4-6 hours a week, maybe more it just depends on how close it is to competition!. There are quite a few dances, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, production, ballet, tap, etc!. I am in jazz, lyrical, and production!. If company dances is the same as procuction (when everybody in the whole studio dances) then we still practice monday and wednesday and sometimes friday!. monday and wednesday are two hours and friday is usually three!. And if you want to try out for a team i say go for it!! My dance team doesnt cut people so if the one you are thinking about doesnt then you should try out and you can only get better from there!Www@QuestionHome@Com I dance 3 days a week!. I go from 6!.20 till 8!.30 on Mondays!. 5!.30 till 9!.00 on Thursdays!. And 10am till 6pm on Saturdays!. I take ballet, jazz, hip hop and modern, but i also teach!. I do solos!. I'm doing 2 this year!. I'm also in ballet, jazz, hip hop and modern troupes!. I have 1 hr private lesson for my solos each week!. My dancing school is syllabus based, so most people are preparing for exams at the moment!. We do competition dances whenever we get a spare chance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com OKay i have been doing competition for five years!. We have to take a ballet class for one hour and forty five minutes!. Then we take jazz, tap, lyrical, production They are all around two hours and we do it four days a week which adds up to about ten hours of dance a week!. In my company you don't have to try out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com This is just a rough estimate because my classes all change :) I dance 6 days a week, over 20 classes and over 25 hours a week!. umm it depends, if you include dance exams then over 40!. I usually dance around 3 hours in the company, but it depends what rehearsals come up!. Nope, I live in Australia!.
