i deff like cheerleading better!. i did ballet for 8 years and realized how much i hated it!. cheerleading has alot more action where ballet is boring!. i am a flyer in cheerelading so its extra fun for me!. i am also a good tumbler so it is really challenging!.
in ballet, once you get to a high level, you do the same thing!. in cheerleading there is always something to perfect!. every day people are making up new stunts and tumbling skills so there is always something new to try!. people on my team are always making new tumbling passes and stunt sequences!. this gets me soooooo excited beacaus now there is something new for me to try!.
i even make up new stunts with my team!. we'll do a stunt in camp and raise the bar for the rest of my team!.
during camp one day, my group was the first to hit a stunt so we made up different ways to do it!. our coach saw us and had us show the team and pretty soon we were all doing step-up heelstretch pump and go scorpions!.
ballet is basicly the same thing repeated over and over again, piroutte, plie!. in cheerleading every time you do something you do it different you discover something new!. do a scorpion, accidently drop your leg, its an arabesque, fall forward, needle, fall more frotnflip dismount!

Ballet!. Cheerleading isn't it's own thing!. It's a combination of dance and gymnastics, whereas ballet is classic and pure dance!. Ballet teaches you discipline, grace and balance (which cheerleading teaches you too, but still)!. You can become more successful in life in ballet!. Plus it's less stressful and more calming!. If you're doing ballet correctly it should never be boring, and there's always something to correct!. You're never perfect until you're the lead dancer for one of the biggest ballet companies in the country!. Plus, you strive to go en pointe, where in cheerleading you're just cheerleading!. There is no next step!. Ballet can be even more action-y than cheerleading!. It's WAY more excersize too!. The only way you could EVER say that cheerleading is more excersize is if you've never been in a PROPER ballet class!. My life wouldn't even be the same if it wasn't for ballet!. And i agree with whoever said this, but cheerleading isn't even worthy of being compared to such an amazing sport!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

cheerleading is so much more fun than ballet, because you get to make new friends, and i dunno its just so much fun, and i love cheering! but i've done ballet for 3 yrs, it's great , i enjoyed it too, but i have to choose cheerleading!.!.!.although now i dance hip-hop, that's so much fun too, you should try itWww@QuestionHome@Com

Ballet for sure! It's so much more respectable like everyone else said before me!. You can make something out of ballet but you cant really do anything with cheerleading!. since cheerleaders have a reputation of being snobby, ballet would be the way to go!.!.!.!.that is unless you want other people to think you're snobby!. Ballet of course, it's a respectable profession!. You just can't compare The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty which happen to art, to a cheerleader(not a profession) only bimbos need apply!. definetly ballet!. But, I guess that's because I've been doing it for 10 years!. It's more self fufilling!. I guess I feel like, if I were a cheerleader (not meaning to make any generalizations) I know i would be popular, but I would feel like it would be for the wrong reasons!. Plus, ballet has always been my outlet!. I can dance away my worries, stresses, and anything else that happened that day w/o anyone judging me!. My mind goes totally blank and I can only focus on the dance!. It's been my emotional stress as well as my meditative method for ten years; of course there's some attatchment! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

definetly ballet! cheerleading only goes thru highschool!.!.maybe college!? but ballet carries you all through life with great posture!. also cheerleading is really dangerous with all the stunts!. theres been many cases of girls dieing!.!.!.and ballet u learn soo much and gain a lot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
