It is Fleckerl !. It is a step of Vienneze Waltz when the partners come out to the middle of the room and spin in place!. There are two types - Natural Fleckerl and Reverse Fleckerl, one is turning to the right and the other is turnign to the left!. It's not a type of a step I'd recommend for beginners!. It is not used in any other ballroom dances as far as I know!.
You can see them in this video between 0:23 and 0:48 seconds!. http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=KEdJ6pQXmoU

It's fleckerl, though you'll see variations like fleckeryll!. And it's only in Viennese waltz!. Its a rapidly turning spin in place (that is, it doesn't travel down the line of dance)!. Each two measures of music consists of a combination of a sort of pivoting rock step and a sort of twist turn!.
I'd give you a complete description from Moore's book, but it's technical and boring if you aren't an advanced ballroom dancer!. If you're really interested, e-mail me!.
Snow's first clip with Howson/Bolton shows a great combination of reverse fleckerls-contra check-natural fleckerls!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
