Let me tell you that since a walkover involves mainly your hip muscles!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I can suggest this!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Be sure to wait for your already-whipped leg to land before you whip the rest of your body out of your upside-down position!. Use the already-landed leg's momentum as the free leg (since the free leg in the walkover has a "whipping action" as it makes its arc) to pull the rest of your body forward!.

I think you are anticipating the landing of the leg and as you are impatient, there is nothing for the body to compensate for that!.!.!.and gravity will force you to land on your butt!. Don't anticipate!.!.!.wait for that free leg and foot to land before you move your rest of your body!.

Hope all of this helps!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hello,

seems like you are starting wrong try to folllow this;

1!. stand up stright, arms up the inside of your elbows should be close to your ears and put ethier your right oe left foot in front of you and then pointe which ever foot your using!.

2!. once your in that position you go into a handsatnd(p!.s if your not very good at handstands find a wall get like at least two handprints away from the wall and kick up and hold it while arching your back!.)

3!. in your hand stand one of your legs go down and the othe one follows!.

4!. then you should be in a backbend then come up!.

and if your having trouble with your hips just practice handstand ans back bends!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You also need to work on your back flexibility!. Doing back bends from standing up should help!.

Make sure both feet land on the floor!.

Practice doing walkovers first by landing in the back bend, and staying there!. This is the crucial part you are missing!.

Once you can land that back bend, it will be easy to learn how to make the getting up smooth from there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You likely have either one of two problems:

1) your back is not flexible enough
3) your arms are not strong enough

Either of these will take some time to fix, but have obvious solutions!. You should be able to tell for yourself if it is either of these!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
