Question: Starting breakdancing/footwork!?
Hey guys, I'm planning on starting breakdancing and footwork!. I need some tips! EX: What should I wear, are there any good classes in Illinois (nearby chicago) or such!? also, would it be a good idea to teach yourself!? Would you post good videos if it is, and how you learn by yourself, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My first advice, is probably the most important!. If you are serious about bboying, DON'T BE DISCOURAGED!. Bboying can be extremely hard and frustrating in the beginning!. Even to get the basics down so you have to keep trying!. If you're having trouble with motivation, my advice is to find a good friend to bboy with and support each other!. It's also great fun!.
If you can't find any friends who are interested, join an online bboy community!. These sites have great forums with a lot of good material!. They have instructional videos, online battles, listing of other bboys in your area, and areas where noobs can go for help!. The greatest part is you can post videos of yourself bboying and get nice critiscm and advice back!.
Like the person above me posted, www!.bboy!.org is a good one and so is www!.bboyworld!.com
Most bboys have learned by themselves!. Watching videos and trying stuff out is a great way to learn!. The only classes I have ever been to and knew of were small classes at my local YMCA that was meant to be for children!.
Look around on the web and work hard!. good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
