Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Just promise me you'll tell me before you try to plug it in, so I can film it!. This is DEFINITELY going up on Youtube!. <edit> LOL! I just noticed you put this in the Dancing category!. I'm sure all that voltage will cause some twitching that *resembles* interpretive dance :PWww@QuestionHome@Com No, I don't think so!. I also don't think I've ever seen an unpolarized outlet, except in India!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Darwin award pops into mind here!.!.!.!Www@QuestionHome@Com NO!!!!! Get an adapter!. They are 75 cents at the hardware store!.Www@QuestionHome@Com only if you're doing it as an aid to learn how to break dance!. or is that 'breaker dance'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes!. Technically there's no difference between a device running between 120vac and ground and the same device running between ground and120vac (and an adapter, as suggested in another answer, won't adapt that out, it'll just save you the time of grinding prongs)!. If you own the house, you're better off upgrading the sockets!. If you rent, you're better off with the adapter!. Grinding down plugs makes sense for a device you don't expect to last to the next house like maybe a hair drier (but grinding does work)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com This also happens if you let the questions fall in the "suggested" categories!.!.!.lol I do that sometimes ((zilla))Www@QuestionHome@Com |
