big sachet (sp!?) before the leap, think up, to help with your center split!.!. lay on the floor on your back with your butt up against a wall and your legs straight up against that wall and let your legs fall outward!. gravity will pull them down!. also, sit in the widest v you can and lean as far forward as you can, do this in flexed feet then in pointed!. strengthen your legs to help you push off and your core to help pull your legs up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Are you in America, or Australia!?
Instead of trying to get a flat split leap, pull your legs up in front of your body, like you would if you were sitting on the floor in the middle splits!.
And keep practising your middle splits!Www@QuestionHome@Com

really plie hard to get as high off the ground as you can, and think of going for height rather than distance!.
also remember to keep your sternum high and don't lean over!. this will make your split look like it's effortless even if it isn't!. and keep working on flexibility!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
