Question:

I'm a senior this year and I get to do a solo at my studio!. The theme of our recital is "Icons" (ex!. fosse)!.

My problem is I currently do not have an icon or a song!. In terms of music I was thinking something along the lines of Home by Katharine McPhee or It's Only Life by Kate Voegele!.!.!.!.but I'm open to any suggestions you may have!!!

And what I'm looking for in an icon is someone who embodies freedom and independence!.!.!.preferably a woman!!!

how about "leaving on a jet plane" by Chantal Kreviazuk from the Armageddon soundtrack!?as far as an icon to emulate,i can not think of anyone better for a lyrical dance than Twyla Tharp!.she is a legend and i think you could pull from her dancing and her choreography!.good luck to you!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
