Question: I need help learning the Spilts!!?!!?!!?
I'm trying out for poms and tryouts are in 3 weeks and like 3 days or something like that I nedd help doing the middle splits! I can kind of do left and right splits but one of my legs kind of bend please help I really want to make it!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

never bend your knees becasue it's the back leg that needs streching!.

Frog
Tough your toes
Splits, hold for 20 seconds, dont forget to relax, sometimes I cant do them and then I just relax and all my muscles loosen up and I do them!.

neel with your but facing the wall!. put your leg up on the wall to make a

shape (the 'l' is the wall)
Then put the other leg out to make an upside down L!.

you have to stretch everyday every minute you hvae to opportunity so your muscles get used to it and you can stretch out!.!.!.!. dont try anything that would hurt you when it starts to hurt hold it for 10 seconds then back off then do it again and again!.!.!.!.this will help BUT IT TAKES TIME! also use your theraband to help with the flexibility youll be happy you did in the long run! good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

U cant learn splits!. U just gotta slide down everyday!. Try as hard as u can!. i had the same prob!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but now I can do it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

im a dancer and the middle spilts is the hardest one there is!. I can do all 3 but im still like and inch of the ground in the middle one!. Just make sure you streach I know you hear that a lot but its what you gatta do!. just sit over your middle split and time will do the rest!. No ones born flexable!. good luck! stretch before and after attempting the splits!. Try to aim to sit in the position for about 3 minutes everyday!. Do not overwork yourself!. Maybe try and get one leg completely stretches out first!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it's not in the routine, or it's not a mandatory thing then you don't really need the splits!. Our school didn't need us to know how to do the splits!. However, you should really stretch out a lot!. The middle splits, personally, aren't that difficult but maybe working on your stradles first and keep on stretching :]Www@QuestionHome@Com
