i got my first pair of pointe shoes (yay!!) about a month ago and i didnt bring anything except my feet! lol
you dont need tights, they'll have those little sock/tight-like things that shoe stores have to slip on your feet.
good luck on pointe!! enjoy yourself and congrats :)

a pair of tights maybey so you can put the shoe over the top
wow you are so lucky! i wish i could do pointe! good luck en pointe !!

You don't actually have to bring anything... just make sure that while trying out you have the gel pads in there. For your first pair, get one that has a patch at the base so you don't rip out the satin dancing too much =P (that happened to me =D)
Make sure that the pointe shoes fit perfectly, don't leave a size because then accidents are more likely to happen... If your feet grow, you can always buy new ones =D
Hope you have fun!

good luck :)
its kool i have been on point for 4 years! it hurts at times though its cool

Here is some info for you

You may want to wear convertible tights so you can expirement with different padding and how you want them arranged. Thats it, make sure youre listening to what the fitter says, and if you like a certain kidn of pad and shoe, be sure to try them together to make sure theyre a good fit once theyre sewn.

ok, im gonna be honest with you!
i do ballet, and the first time i tried points, my feet were bleeding... but it was because i didnt have the gel protector thingy! so i tried it with the protectors and its way better now... but it still hurts!
i dont want to get you scared! dont worry once u get used to it, it feels normal. im 12 now, and iv been doin points for 2 years... they dont hurt that much anymore!

congradulations!!! u should just bring a pair of convertable tights and you should be fine!
