Question:I used to be SOOOO flexible. Until i was 14. Now i'm 15, and i can't even do the splits anymore!!! I didn't even stop stretching or anything. What the heck???? and my left splits were never the best but it's SOOO bad now. How can i get back to how I was/

I had a major growth spurt. Could that be why?

that could be part of it actually...or it could be maybe if you've stopped exercising or sports or something, that could also be why..
but the best thing to do is honestly just continue to stretch and stretch and carefully force yourself further down in splits. if you sit in your splits, whether you have them or not, just sit in them as far as you can and DONT hold yourself up with your hands. hold your hands together straight above your head for 10 seconds at a time. it WILL force your splits a little further down each time if you continue to do it. dont force it to where it hurts, so you dont pull muscles, but just stretch, stretch, stretch!! good luck

yes, actually. As you grow (especially at your age) your bones begin to join together. Overall, the younger you are, the more flexible.

yes your body grows in sections and alot of times your bones will grow and it might take a while for the rest of you to ketch up so you prbly just like grew and your just tight.. if you strectch everynight and work at all your splits and jumps and stunts you should be able to get back to normal.. im in the same thing you are except im finnally ketching up to the like inch i grew lol haha yayy!
