Position:Home>Dancing> Oh no! i don't know what to do:( help me. please?

Question:ohk, so about 5 months ago my dad bought me some tap shoes for my dance class and concert. i had them for about 3 of those months, but for the last 2 they've been missing! I don't know what to do! because i have to practice in them, and i can't be in the dance in the concert if i don't have them. the thing is i don't have the heart to tell my dad, who's looking forward to see me perform. I can't find them anywhere i look, at school, at home. and i can't tell him cause i know he'll be mad and upset because i ALWAYS lose things even though i try so hard not too.

so my question is, how do you think i can get my hands on some black tap shoes kinda soon? if i can't buy them, like somehow borrowing them from somewhere or something like that (none of my good friends have tap shoes)

PLEASE HELP, im so upset!

this has happend to me aswell!
except with ballet shoes not tap.

first = without makeing a scene, slowly ask your dad, "hey! i really liked those shoes you bought me, my friend wants to get some! which shop did you get it from?"

once you have the answer, borrow some money from someone and buy the exact same pair.

then do a tap dancing show infront of all of your reletives and ask them to pay to come to the show because your saving up for a phone or whatever.

once you've got the money, pay the person back and vwalla!

thats how i did it!!!!!

this is a link to a site that sells tap shoes. If push comes to shove just tell your dad. Start off by telling him your sorry and then tell him what heppened. If he gets mad at you not telling him sooner let him know that you didnt want to dissapoint him.

Good luck!!!!!!! :(

Ask your tap classmates if they have a pair that you can wear or check out the Goodwill or other thrift shops. Or ask your dance teacher if he/she knows anywhere you can find some.
