Question:ive had a problem with my back not being flexible for as long as i can remember and cant get it the way it needs to be...ive tried a few things but is there any back streches that u know of that u can tell me would be amaxing.

Lay on your stomach and raise up on your arms. Reach up with your chest. Let your headreach up and backwards. Feel the stretch in the upper back, not in the lower back. Lower back is too easy to over-stretch. You're correct, it's about stretching, not bending.

In order to achieve flexibility in your back, you need to alterate it with leaning forward. What we did in gymnastics was to bend forward to the floor while standing, then stand up, than bend into the bridge backwards. Repeat 10 times or as many times as you can do it without losing control. It's just as much about strength as it is about flexibility.

what i do is lay on my tummy and get someone to hold your hand and get them to pull you back so that you are arching.if you keep doing this on a daily basis, you will deff gain some flexiblility becasue i used to do this and it worked!!
