Question:On The 8th Of May My Little Sister Is Turning 13.
We Have Hired The Local Hall And There Will Be 40 Of Her Friends Attending, And I Have Been Given The Job Of Preparing The Music.
We Are Going To Need About 3 And A Half Hours Of Music.
Any Ideas About What Songs Should Be On There? We Want People Dancing, But Dont Want Anything Like The Macarana Or Anything,

If you are going to plan the music who will DJ? Parties need more than just music! Whoever DJ's should also have some dance activities planned to some of the music. For a 13th BDay party after the first hour of dancing the kids will get extremely bored with it. You might want to include some video games like Guitar hero or the Dance one (don't know the nameof it) to break up the dancing. Borrow the video equipment from whoever has them.. Maybe set up 4 or 5 activity sections around the hall . The guests can play these either as a whole time slot or whenever they don't feel like dancing. You'll have to make a schedule so they won't hog the games and others will get a chance. Are you going to play music while they are eating? If so make it good listening stuff instead of dance songs.
