Question:I used to do ballet for like 1 or 2 years,
but that was a while ago. I really want to do it again, and I would like to know some tips to stay in shape for ballet and how to keep strong, etc.

well you should definitely stretch, eat healthier, go to the gym even. maybe when you go back start with a lower amount of classes or easier level, then when you get back in shape add harder classes and more classes per week. also id recommend the new york city ballet work out book, it has a lot of good exercises you can do to tone your muscles etc.

ps if you were ever on pointe id suggest breaking them in and getting used to them again. :)

(i danced 10 years, then i quit and went back so i had to do a lot of those things, however i decided dance was not for me anymore )
