Dancing - Choreography ideas?

Question:I need a stimulus to create a dance around. Its pretty open and can be based around a phrase or some words or a picture or a poem - of lots of those things all combined together. I am soo stuck. Anyone got any ideas??? Thankyou!

I can see why you are stuck as it is such an open question it can be hard to decide. The best dance comes from something that you FEEL strongly about, as this will show itself in your finished dance.

With this in mind, some emotive ideas:

Phrases
5. "I'm sorry to have to tell you that you have cancer"
6. "GET OUT"
7. You are pregnant
8. "I love you" (decide who would say this and why)

10. The story from your favourite book
11. Romeo and Juliet
12. Cool Runnings

Why not pick your favorite song?

Massive Attack are great for contemporary!
Madonna is good for lyrical!

Why not do a dance that is based on relationships? I.e. love, friendship, family etc.
