It is about more than the size of your street shoe. It is about the length and width of your foot, the height and strength of your arch, and the brand of the shoe. If you want a pointe shoe to fit right, you need to have it professionally fitted.

Pointe shoes dont run the same as street shoe, and it varies by brand and style. Best bet it so go to a repuable dance shoppe and get fitted

you must go and get pointe shoes fitted to your feet!! if it is one of your first few pairs!!

and if you are buying pointe shoes of the net you should be 100% sure they are the correct shoes but buyin pointe shoes of the net is not recomended!!

it depends what brand you get, for example, i wear a size 8 and i wear a size 4 in some shoes or a size 3f. you have to be fitted.

get fitted, since your pointe shoes size will NOT be the same size as your street shoe, and there's many different widths. For example, I'm a US 7, and I have a US 4 1/2 size pointe shoe.

get fitted at a dance store. there are different widths for toe and heel, shank strength, bow width, artch height and many other things you have to think of besides length.
