i found this on you tube. just keep your balance and really focus on what your tryin to do. also take it in sections.. like do it small at first for a while then get into the full out turns.
good luck

It's just like a pirrouette, except your leg is out to the side instead of in a posse. It's an unusual turn, but certainly not unheard of. I find it rather more difficult than a regular pirrouette. Some tips on how to do it:

1. Try it first. Just see how it feels, what looks good, what feels good, and it's probably right.
2. Pull up. You've heard this before -- pull up like there's a string at the top of your head and pulling your body upwards. This way you won't have to worry about balance.
3. Keep your legs relaxed, but not bent. Too much tension will make you fall over every time.
4. Keep it al a seconde. So many dancers are tempted to bring it to the front as the turn with the momentum, but keep it there.
5. Talk to your teacher. They probably know exactly how to fit your needs and how to teach you better than I do.

An al a seconde turn is used especially in partner dancing. In many celebrated ballets (Swan Lake, Coppelia, etc.), the danseur and the ballerina do multiple al a seconde pirrouettes together in unison. It really makes for an interesting look.

Good luck, hope this helped.
