No hun, the only person who would be to fat to dance are people that are like 1000 pounds and can't even get out of bed which is really sad. But ya don't not do it because you have a few extra pounds or you just feel like you do, because dance is really lots of fun and i would hate for you to miss out on it. Seriously dance is good for you and your health so you should do it. I know lots of people that probably weigh more than you and they are really good at dancing, and it actually helped them lose weight. Also you probably think you are fatter than you are people tend to be more harsh with themselves when criticizing than with others, and we also see things about ourselves that no one else does.

you can dance 2 loose weight i dont think u can b 2 fat 2 dance unless ur like 5jillion pounds!

Dance! it's great exercise, if you feel insecure, practice on slow nights when few people are @ the club.

If you have problems with mobility, then probably dancing isn't for you. Usually people who are too fat to dance range anywhere from 500lbs to 1000lbs or over, which is called obese.

Shake it !! you r never too fat to dance ! not only that u may learn some new moves, and feel sexy when dancing :)

There isn't any fat in dance...except in pointe. But i doubt you're as 'fat' as you seem to think you are, nor will you be on pointe for awhile, so even if you are ginormous (which i doubt you are) you don't have to worry. Plus, if you're that concerned, dancing alone is a great way to loose weight!

acually ur probably not fat maybe big-boned....itz natural and wit dancing u loose weight...and that can make u a betta dancer

yes, at a certain point the muscles and bones in your legs will not support you

If you have a belly - well....thats the requirement for belly dancing....now thats hot!!!!

There will always be skinnier dancers, so accept it and move on.....Dance plenty, eat sensibly and have fun!!

Goodness, I hope not. dance your butt off literally. It is fun and a great form of exercise and yes iam overweight too but not enough to keep me form doing one of my favorite pastimes. GO FOR IT GIRL!
