Position:Home>Dancing> Starting my own dance class and need advice...?

Question:Im going to be starting a street dance class in a few weeks time. I will be hiring out my local pubs function room in Liverpool for the class and it will be open to people age 11 upwards. It's basically just a bit of fun and something to keep the kids off the streets etc.

do i need to get some insurance to cover me for accidents etc? Also, if I do need insurance, where is the best place to get it from for this sort of thing?

Thanks in advance x

In Camden, london, you need a license from the council which costs, and they issue it after checking health and safety issues.Don't panic as the pub might already satisfy all the councils requirements.Your local council has all the info you need to start the classes

You *might* be able to get them (or their parents) to sign a release saying they will not sue, etc.; but I am not lawyer, and do not live near the UK.

I say u have to get insurance, because if someone gets hurt, are u gonna pay for it or is the insurance? Oh, u can get ur dance clothes in Hardsdale by score or Thornwood.
