Question:I'm going to try out for my school's dance team, I'm a freshman. Does anyone know of any videos that show just any dances step by step so I can practice? I searched youtube and I couldn't find step by step dances. Oh and I'll add two other questions onto this. Okay I'm sorry I don't know what this is called since I have NO experience of dance but when you twirl around how do you keep from getting dizzy cuz I keep getting dizzy but I have to continue on with the dance so its hard and any tips on helping me do the splits?

okay for the videos it may be the things you type in that come up with no answers. try typing like dance tutorials and if you want to get into detail like try "how to do a pirouette" (which is a "turn" or "how to do a leap" and things like that

when you turn, you want to spot your head. so, when you're practicing your turns, find something on the wall your facing and keep your head focused on that. when you have to turn your head around because your neck wont turn anymore, whip your head around and try to spot that thing your looking at as quickly as possible. if you looka t any dances on youtube you can see girls spotting their heads.

for the splits, all you can really do is just every day stretch and then sit in each split for a few minutes (5-10 minutes is a good time range). after a week or so you should have your splits down.

hope this helped! :)

Ok, the source below, is this dude talking about a popular dance (1,2 Step).

when you turn like that, it's called a pirouette. sounds like Peer-o-ett. To help, try spotting. You keep your eye on one spot so when u turn u whip your head around. Also, try looking up at the ceiling. You still will feel a little dizzy, but not as much!!!
