thanks!

You aren't anywhere near over your box, your feet are sickled, you aren't pointing your feet as hard as you should be, and you come down from tsu tsu one foot at a time.

The reason you aren't ovet your box is not that you don't have good arches. You just aren't pointing them as far as they can go. It's very important to be on your box. Sickling your feet is also about not using your muscles as much as you should be. You can't just let your foot dangle there in coupe! Coming down from tsu tsu on both feet at the same time just takes coordination and practice.

For three weeks, you're doing pretty well. Keep working hard and have fun!

Lock ur ankles in tighter, make sure you also do warm up's an practices to make ur ankles alot stronger, besides that everything looks good

Your shoes do not look broken in at all.... you need to loosen up the box a little so that your arches will look nicer. Bend the shoe in half CAREFULLY right where your arch is and just make them softer. I can definitley tell how new the shoes are so it is kindof hard to see if you are doing well...

it looks like you have a lower arch, so i recommend thera band excercise... they help make stronger ankles, toes, and arches... so they are great for pointe! Also, when you come down of a "su su" make sure you are either rolling through, or springing down from them... it looks like your trying to spring, but you ankles are too slow. If you have any more questions or want more suggestions, I believe you can e-mail me... Good luck!

From one of the YouTube videos I had seen........

You have a very slight sickling of perhaps the left or right foot when you are fully on pointe, but I still believe technically that your pointe is very, very good.

Well I am a dancer, and I have been on point for 2 years. Any advice.... well when you are jumping, make sure that you plea really good. Cause I made the mistake of not doing that, and I now have tendinitis in both of my ankles. And it really hurts when you are on point. So take my advice, it will help you so much. Good Luck!!!

For 3 weeks, lookin pretty good! Make sure youre really pushing to get over the box, so you dont sickle your foot. Looks like you have nice placement, and I'm sure youll continue to improve. Your ankles also look pretty strong judging by your releve

I agree with most people, you are not completely over your box, and you do need to lock your ankles in tighter, but for being on pointe for just 3 weeks, your doing pretty well actually. One thing i would say to do is to stand in 5th position relevay(however you spell it!) for like a minute each foot every day. That will help. Also what will help is time because your shoes need to be broken in a little bit more. If you need your shoes done quicker, ask your dance teacher to soften them for you a little bit.
Good Luck, you look great

For only being on pointe for 3 weeks you are doing very well. Since you are so new to doing pointe work make sure you warm up your feet before putting your shoes on which a lot of new pointe dancers forget because they are so excited to get the shoes on. Then after putting the shoes on roll through your feet slowly (one foot then the other but never actually going on to pointe) to help break the shoes in. To help strengthen your legs and ankles you should really be concentrating on just pressing up to eleve and then pressing down. Slowly! Also, plie, releve while still in plie, and then straighten your legs. Then reverse- eleve, plie, then press your heels down into the floor.

Good Luck and you are doing great!

well i study with the ohman school of professional ballet and he teaches in the style of how Balanchine taught and our style is diff. ur feet dont look THT ready yet and u were not on the box in the second video but keep working on it!

For one thing, you have amazing feet and legs. If you develop them now, you could be a huge threat to the dance world. But in order to do that, you need to take lots of ballet classes above your skill level.

Make sure that your knees are locked...it makes you balance easier and right now your lines are bieng destroyed. When you are on pointe (ex. in coupe) the standing ankle isn't all the way arched. This is called cheating! lol. I know it's hard, but you need to extend your ankle and think of yourself bieng lifted out of the shoes. If you do this, EVERYTHING will get easier and more stable.

good luck:)
