i can totally relate to that. to ease that feeling up, let me tell you my story. until age 15, i was the worst dancer in our school. some teachers even laugh at me when they see me dance. i was just terrible.... there was even one time when they secluded me from a class presentation (in front of the stage) where all my classmates danced. so can you imagine how terrible that was? it feels that the world of dance abhors me.

by the age of 16, the fairy dancingmother seemed to have heard my wish. and before i knew it, i dance like a pro and joined a dance team, and part of the competing team too! and guess what, we even won some dance competitions!

all you have to do is believe in yourself and work yourself harder. take this experience in a positive way. practice infront of the mirror and polish those moves. join a dance class, you'll meet new friends too.keep yourself busy to take your heart off to that feeling.

good luck:)

start a riot!!

Work harder so you can get into a dance next time. Your friends obviously had something you didn't, so work on dance a LOT!

No offence, but you obviously weren't good enough or didn't stand out enough. They don't know it's your favorite song, and even if they did they wouldn't let you be in it because of that. Also, they're not going to pick you just because your friends were in it. Just work really hard and that oppurtunity for a platinum will come again. Also, maybe too many people signed up. And remember, all's fair in love and dance. Sorry, i changed the last word for it to make sence, but you can't do anything about it. Also, no offence but if you're going to complain about it then you obviously didn't deserve to be in it. Just be happy you went to nationals.
