I dont think its ever too late to start!
As with a lot of hobbies there should be adult dance classes for all abilities held somewhere in the area, i know there are near me. Ask around and look for adverts in local papers and gazettes for dance schools and see what age they take dancers, also ask if you and your daughter can sit in on a class so you find somewhere you both like and see if they offer a trial lesson. Are you talking about classical dance? Ballet/tap/jazz&modern? I assume you are, but i guess it depends on what's available in your area.
I started dancing at the age of 3 but check with the schools and your daughter first because she should have a passion for it before she starts and for insurance and other purposes some schools may have a minimum age limit. Most academies (if shes really serious) will take them from primary school age. Also when looking for a dance school ask about the board they dance with e.g RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) and if they can take exams so you can find out more.
Here are a few links i hope will help:

Good luck, i hope you both do well!

there is a place in my town called the little gym that offers dance classes for children as young as 2 and no you arent too old to start as a beginner...before getting married my husband and myself took some dance lessons to prepare for the big day

I started at 3 years old so your daughter can go in anytime you think she's ready. 21 is not to late, there are many beginning adult dance classes out there!
Good luck! hope this helps

i was dancing at one and a half or two till i was like seven or nine. im 13 and going back. its never too late! good luck!

i dance, i do ballroom, latin and hip hop. i started out when i was 2 years old. there isnt an age limit on being a beginner in dance, my boyfriends mum has just joined a my ballroom dance group as a beginner and she is 57 years old.
hope i have helped

Most of the places that I know of start dance classes at 3 years old. If she is younger and you wanted to get her into something for the mean time, try gymnastics.

That's the beauty of dancing- It's for EVERYONE. I think that's why I love it so much =]

I say, if you want to dance, then DANCE! And as for your daughter, I say the earlier the better. Technique is the most important thing, and if she can learn that early, she'll thank you one day.

Good luck!
